How to know who the user made an auditing information on table at find/search form?

Dears,

I'm a beginner in JDE and in programming in general.
my question to know who the user made any change in the data at table in search/find form by using business function and auditing information? and from this I need to extract these information:

User ID (USER)
Program ID (PID)
Date - Updated (UPMJ)
Time - Last Updated (UPMT)

Just I need the steps of work and what the tools I have to use ??

JDE GL High Volume

Hi,
We have a new business case where there is a possibility of 80 Million records hitting the F0911 each year and expecting a growth rate of 10% YOY. We are on JDE 9.1 on Oracle DB. Does any one have a similar experience? What are the performance issues?

Any inputs are highly appreciated.

Thanks

AIS Testing using SoapUI

I am trying to perform a testing using SoapUI for my AIS installation. This is a simple test for tokenrequest as outlined in this doc (probably written by Jon)
http://ift.tt/1QM0w0b

However my test is failing with this message:

"message": "Authorization Failure Server returned HTTP response code: 403 for URL: http://ift.tt/1VvYzEp;,
"exception": "com.oracle.e1.rest.session.E1LoginException",
"timeStamp": "2016-01-29:11.17.26"

The AIS logs show this error:

29 Jan 2016 10:46:44,093[SEVERE][AIS]JAS ERROR OUTPUT: inputParams INPUT PARAMS: aichs-JDV910-ALL-http://txhdcwbs08.svc.ssss.com:8094 Exception Occurred Server returned HTTP response code: 403 for URL: http://ift.tt/1QM0w0f java.io.IOException: Server returned HTTP response code: 403 for URL: http://ift.tt/1QM0w0f
29 Jan 2016 10:46:54,577[SEVERE][AIS]JAS ERROR OUTPUT: inputParams INPUT PARAMS: aichs-JDV910-ALL-http://txhdcwbs08.svc.ssss.com:8094 Exception Occurred Server returned HTTP response code: 403 for URL: http://ift.tt/1QM0w0f java.io.IOException: Server returned HTTP response code: 403 for URL: http://ift.tt/1QM0w0f

Interestingly though my TEST connection works for AIS, also I am able to open the Apps from my iPAD using this AIS URL so I know the AIS installation works. Moreover I have verified that the Allowed host entry is set to "*" on the JAS server.

I bumped into this Doc id on MOS:
E1: MOB: AIS Server Connection Error <JAS ERROR OUTPUT: http://[machine_name]:9999/jde/FormServiceRequest> (Doc ID 1929480.1)

But I have checked the environment names and they are correct.

Has anybody got this error, seems like I am missing something..not sure what.

Meanwhile this is E9.1 on TR 9.1.5.5 with WebSphere 8.5.5.5 installation.

As mentioned before the AIS works great form the Apps but I needed to test this from SoapUI.

Thanks,
Soumen

Tools Release upgrade 9.1.2.4 to 9.2.0.1

I am the CNC at my company and I am planning to upgrade our tools release from 9.1.2.4 to 9.2.0.1. During my planning process, I discovered that the JDE developers were using JAX-RPC to build and deploy BSSVs. I am aware that 9.2.0.X only uses JAX-WC.

Is there a way to convert JAX-RPC to JAX-WC? Or perhaps some other work around?

Cheers.

Minimum value Order

We are on One World Xe and we need a way set pricing such that the minimum order value is let's say $100. I the customer orders $75 worth of items we need the pricing to automatically round up to $100. Is there a way to do this on xe? I am aware of the minimum order value hold but we dont want to use it since it will be very manually intensive for users to release the hold.

Thanks,

Missing records in P41202

Hello everybody,

I have a problem with missing returned inventory items. A warehouse attendant returned an item to a work order. It hits WO costing via the G/L record and it shows up in P4111 (Inventory transactions), but doesn't appear in the P41202 (Detailed Availability)

This doesn't happen every time with each return. Happens time to time and no idea why.

Any comment?

Thank you for your time!

Electronic Data Interchange - from Legacy System to JDE

I would really appreciate whatever information I can get.
We are switching over to JD Edwards Enterprise One 9.2 from a homegrown system. I have reviewed the JDE EDI Implementation Guide but I just would really like to get an idea some sample data for the 850 document for starters.

For example, for the F47011 the minimum required fields are:
EDOC - EDI document number (I know this comes from Next Number)
EDCT - EDI Document Type
EKCO - EDI Document Key Company
EDST - EDI Transaction Set
EDER - Send/Receive Flag (self explanatory)
TPUR - Transaction Set Purpose
AN8 or SHAN - Address number or Ship to Address (know what this is - but would still like to see example)
SYMCU - Business Unit (I know this is the JDE Business Unit

for example in the EDI 850 below - what would be the Document Type? What would be the Transaction Set? What would be the Send/Receive Flag?

Would anyone have any suggestions on what my next move should be?

Controlling job name of UBE launched from E1 on iseries.

Hi List,

I originally posted this in tech forum - but will open it up for developers - hopefully someone out there will have some information - please!

When launching UBEs from within E1 using the standard api jdeLaunchUBEEx the job name when viewed on the iseries becomes the same name as the UBE program (eg. R47011). If we are launching many different versions (in this case subsystem versions) of the same UBE program then it is impossible when monitoring jobs on iseries (it might be same issue on other platforms as well) to know which version is running. For example the details below show the 7 R47011 subsystem versions that were launched from E1 when viewed from iseries WAJ screen. All we can see is the job name "R47011" repeated 7 times. When drilling down into the details of each job it is still not possible to determine which version is running.

Subsystem/Job User Type CPU % Function Status
FISLEEPERS QSYS SBS .0 DEQW
R42565 JDE BCH .0 PGM-PRINTUBE TIMW
R47011 JDE BCH .0 PGM-PRINTUBE TIMW
R47011 JDE BCH .0 PGM-PRINTUBE TIMW
R47011 JDE BCH .0 PGM-PRINTUBE TIMW
R47011 JDE BCH .0 PGM-PRINTUBE TIMW
R47011 JDE BCH .0 PGM-PRINTUBE TIMW
R47011 JDE BCH .0 PGM-PRINTUBE TIMW
R47011 JDE BCH .0 PGM-PRINTUBE TIMW

We know that if we inquire within E1 we can find the processes running in WSJ screen (this shows the F986110 processing jobs at 'P' status) and with some detective work we can find the process id and link back to the iseries job. But this is not very user friendly. We also have operators monitoring jobs from iseries (with alarms if jobs abend) perspective from support centers. I have looked at the parameters being (potentially) passed to the api and I can see no likely candidate for controlling job name.

One alternative (that we do not want to do) is to launch UBEs using native iseries commands (eg. SBMJOB and RUNUBE) - this would be a last resort as we would like to use native apis if at all possible.

So the question is "Can the actual job name of a UBE launched from within E1 be controlled in any way via the api jdeLaunchUBEEx rather than defaulting to the UBE name. Or is there any other method that can be used to control the underlying job name as viewed from iseries"?

best regards

Andrew

Copy Paste issue on 9.1.5.3 TR when using Google Chrome

Hi List,

I thought JDE could now handle ALL internet browsers.

I have noticed that when I am in Google Chrome I can't copy and paste from grid records (single column value or even multiple) unless I tick the Grid Row arrow.

I can do this from IE no problem at all, even if I do NOT select the grid row.

So how do I fix this? Does anyone else have this issue or do we have to bin Google Chrome.

Is there a way around this?

Thanks

R42565 - One Invoice per shipment on the same DOCO

Hi list,

Every now and again we have an issue with R42565 whereby if we have an order with multiple lines for different items (so different shipments) we can get a joined up/merged invoice for the order.

What we would like is one invoice per shipment on the DOCO

This causes us issues as our customer doesn't like the fact we merge the invoice.

I think this happens if the lines are fulfilled and ready to go at the same time.

Thanks

Hello,

I have seen several posts related to this and have not yet seen a solution. There has to be something out there that would accommodate this functionality. Has anyone had any success? We have had some success calling the S421002C in varied places. I'm looking for something cleaner than calling this work horse just for the URAT.

Could you help me with some ideas to practice that can be used by other developers in future situations?

Thank you!

Add SKU item to existing collection

Hi,

I'm developing a new form with a grid where i paste an excel column full of SKU codes. When I click save this inserts this SKU's on an previously selected collection. My doubt is:

When I insert an SKU like 125.458.256 in the default screen looks for the root element (in this case 125), if is not found inserted does the insert and on until the last element (256). I don't know if I'm explainig appropietly. Any idea will be good.

Any one knows if there's any standard function to do this job?

Oracle Powers Precision Medicine Delivery with New Solution Connecting Research, Pathology and Clinical Care

Press Release

Oracle Powers Precision Medicine Delivery with New Solution Connecting Research, Pathology and Clinical Care

Oracle Healthcare Precision Medicine accelerates and expands collaboration from genetic testing through clinician decision-making for better, targeted outcomes

Redwood Shores, Calif. —Jan 25, 2016

To advance the evolving field of precision medicine, Oracle Health Sciences today announced Oracle Healthcare Precision Medicine. This first-of its kind software solution connects genetic testing, report generation, and clinical care decision-making to accelerate delivery of precision medicine while making it more attainable and affordable. With this solution, Oracle continues to support the paradigm shift in clinical research and healthcare, from a one-size-fits-all approach to combat disease to a methodology that treats biological variations of individual patients.

Precision medicine is revolutionizing drug development and healthcare. President Barack Obama described it as, “one of the greatest opportunities for new medical breakthroughs... ever seen.” Personalized medicines account for 42 percent of all drugs in development. With precision medicine treatments, survival rates for colorectal cancer have increased by 15 percent, while hospitalization for heart patients has declined by 30 percent.1 These promising numbers offer early glimpses into how precision medicine will dramatically improve patient outcomes and drive greater, overall efficiencies in research and healthcare.

Precision Medicine and Data Insight

The advancement of precision medicine involves targeting large amounts of genetic data from gene panels to whole genome sequencing (WGS). The task of identifying, reviewing, and acting on these biomarkers falls to three groups of specialists, the researcher (uncovering the biomarkers), the molecular pathologist (identifying the actionable biomarkers for a given condition), and the clinician (evaluating the resulting data and advising on treatment plans).

These groups face challenges in isolating clinically actionable information and creating individual diagnostic reports. Lack of traceability, scalability, data privacy/security, siloed tools, disparate terminologies, and varied workflows all contribute to their inability to collaborate on the best therapy for the patient. The kind of collective solution necessary to address these challenges did not exist—until now.

“Oracle is the authority in data management and analysis—even down to the molecular level,” said Steve Rosenberg, senior vice president and general manager, Oracle Health Sciences. “Our translational solutions are used in 12 medical research institutions around the world. Applying our deep data expertise and healthcare innovation insight, we’ve developed Oracle Healthcare Precision Medicine, an innovative solution that supports advanced methodologies for personalized treatments. It is the next logical step in support of precision medicine.”

Simplifies Decision Making For Research Teams and Clinicians to Improve Patient Outcomes

Oracle Healthcare Precision Medicine addresses the data aggregation, knowledge exchange, normalization, and workflow issues that restrict the timely creation of patient molecular profiles. The solution allows a wide range of experts to conduct seamless collaborations on ‘best treatment’ plans for individual patients.

Key benefits of the solution include:

  • Full spectrum testing from gene panels through whole genome sequencing Accelerated test throughput via streamlined lab workflow for higher revenue and lower costs
  • Consistent report design and simplified clinical action planning
  • Complete traceability for compliance requirements
  • Integration with electronic health record (EHR) systems and third-party vendors for seamless clinical workflow and adoption

Kitting on web orders using XML Call Object

Hi Everyone,

We create JDE sales orders from the e-commerce website using XML interoperability solution. This has been in place for years and works well. Now, we are trying to implement kit orders on the website. So, kit items are setup on the website and when the kit item is sent on the order, the order generated does not have the kit blown into its components. We have tested that the same version of P4210 called by the web process works fine when order is entered directly in JDE, blowing the kit into its components. After looking at the web process, it appears like the original process might not have all the necessary components to handle kits.

Have anyone implemented kits on their ecommerce solution? If so, would you be able to help provide us some direction on the JDE business functions and parameters that need to be called to make it work.

Based on my research, we tried running the business function KitsInBatchMode after F4211FSEditLine, but we get below errors. Not sure if there is more that needs to be done before/after calling this bsfn or if this is not the right one!

<errors>
<error code="0003">Error: Blanks Invalid</error>
<error code="0553">Error: Kit Not Set Up Completely</error>
</errors>

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

CLK Enerji Selects Oracle Utilities for Business Transformation

Press Release

CLK Enerji Selects Oracle Utilities for Business Transformation

Largest energy utility in Turkey will deliver a more modern and flexible Meter to Cash customer experience

İstanbul, Turkey—Jan 21, 2016

CLK Enerji, Turkey’s largest energy utility, has selected Oracle Utilities solutions to transform and modernize its billing systems and improve service quality for its customers across all areas of its business.

With the changing landscape of the Turkish energy market, new demands are being placed on the country’s utilities requiring them to develop more customer-centric services and adapt their operations for the digital age. In a move designed to lower operating costs, increase accuracy and streamline its customer operations, CLK Enerji is implementing Oracle Utilities Customer Care & Billing (CC&B) and Oracle Utilities Meter Data Management (MDM) to deliver a more flexible, performing service to its growing base of energy and cost-conscious customers.

CLK Enerji serves nearly 10 million customers in Turkey and boasts an annual electricity distribution and sales strength of 46 billion kWh. With Oracle Utilities solutions, the company will build on its market-leading capabilities and deliver a new standard of excellence for energy management and customer service.

The scalability features of Oracle Utilities CC&B and MDM will enable CLK Enerji to customize its billing offerings to meet the varied needs of its fast-growing customer base. Oracle Utilities’ solutions span the entire meter-to-cash process, eliminating gaps in communication, protecting revenue, and reducing manual work through automation. Energy users will be able to manage their own consumption and billing needs online while benefiting from new levels of flexibility and control. By empowering customers in this way, CLK Enerji will benefit from a lower total cost of ownership of its CIS platform.

Serhan Ozhan, CIO at CLK Enerji said: “The energy landscape in Turkey is in the midst of a sweeping change and as the country’s leading energy provider we want to be at the forefront of this transformation. Oracle Utilities was the only vendor that could offer an end-to-end suite of technologies which are flexible, secure and scalable enough to underpin our ambitious modernization plans, and that will allow us to deliver on our customers’ evolving expectations.”

Mike Ballard, Director for Oracle Utilities Strategy, EMEA said: “The legacy systems that many utilities still have in place today are not designed to support the demands of the modern energy market. Having a choice, customers in competitive markets become increasingly demanding of their service provider. They are also becoming increasingly concerned with how much energy they use and expect their utilities to help them manage their consumption and lower their bills. Working with Oracle Utilities, CLK Enerji is setting the standard for this new era of energy and customer management in Turkey and the surrounding region.”

How to create a pipe (|) delimited text file?

Right now I have a UBE which creates a csv file and by default it's a comma delimited text file. I did not have to do anything to set it up so it will create the comma delimited text file. Now I want to change it to a pipe (|) delimited text file instead of comma. How do I change the existing UBE from a comma delimited text file into a pipe delimited text file please?

Right now I have UBE of type group and I just align each RV variable to the grid and populate those RV variables. I did not manually write to a text file or anything. I guess JDE does it automatically.

What's the proper way to generate text delimited file please?

Thanks

Zero balance adjustment +landed cost in Receiving (P4312)

Hi JDEList

I have a problem in receiving as below.

(condition)
- Cost method = '02 '
- Average Cost = 105
- Landed cost rule = 'A05'
Rate = 5%
Cost inclusion = 'Y'
Voucher = 'N'
- Quantity On Hand = 1

Step

1.Enter Return PO with following condition
Quantity = -1
Purchasing price = 100
Landed cost = A05

2. Receiving the PO

And then, 3 cardex records are populated....
A. purchasing goods record (quantity = -1, unit cost = 100, Extended cost = 100)
B. Zero balance adjustment record (quantity = 0, unit cost = 0, Extended cost = -50)
C. Landed cost record (quantity = 0, unit cost = 0, Extended cost = -50)

corresponding Journal entries are created too.

As you are aware, either B or C aren't necessary since the inventory amount in cardex becomes negative although the quantity is zero.

Have you experienced this? If yes, how do you deal with this?

Lumentum Shines a Light on the Benefits of Oracle Global Trade Management Cloud

Press Release

Lumentum Shines a Light on the Benefits of Oracle Global Trade Management Cloud

Redwood Shores, Calif.—Jan 20, 2016

Oracle today announced that Lumentum Holdings Inc. has become the first company to go live with Oracle Global Trade Management Cloud Service (GTM) for product classification and export compliance screening.  Their five-month implementation, which includes an out-of-the-box integration with Oracle E-Business Suite Managed Cloud Service.  Lumentum manufactures and exports optical networking devices, commercial lasers and 3D sensing tools that are used in almost every network in the world. Telecommunication companies, enterprises and data centers around the globe depend on Lumentum’s innovative components and modules.

Oracle GTM Cloud Service allows Lumentum to proactively manage the entire export compliance process, from classifying their items for export, screening their sales orders and customer deliveries for restricted and denied parties, export compliance and license requirements, and export documentation.

“Trade compliance is the process of ensuring country-specific laws and regulations are followed when shipping goods across international borders,” said Sree Vaidyanathan, VP Information Technology, Lumentum. “Businesses that fail to comply with these export policies can face increased order fulfilment time, severe penalties and trade restrictions. Oracle’s GTM solution supports all of our compliance needs and provides effective screening capabilities so we can scale and expand the business globally”.

Oracle partner, Accelalpha, expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite provided Lumentum with a holistic approach to develop end-to-end business processes and re-usable solution components as part of a rapid deployment strategy. A key objective of the project was to minimize infrastructure and system administration costs which had to be delivered against a period of dramatic change while Lumentum was being spun out from its parent company JDS Uniphase Corporation.

“To support rapid and cost-effective business growth and market expansion, shippers like Lumentum are looking for competitive ways to streamline and enhance complex trade management processes,” said Derek Gittoes, vice president, supply chain management product strategy, Oracle. “We provide the industry’s most comprehensive transportation and global trade management cloud platform. As a result we are in a better place than ever to help our customer’s further optimize processes, reduce costs and mitigate risks.”

Both companies will share best practices and experiences at Oracle's Modern Supply Chain Experience event that takes place in San Jose, California Jan 25-27th 2016. Over 2,000 supply chain professional are expected to attend the event which will includes a partner showcase, 21 tracks and 100 breakout sessions.

B4200450 Advanced SO Detail Line Split and Increments 1.001 vs 1.1 etc

Hi List,

I have an issue here in that a line split 50 times is behaving very weird
1.000 for 50 units across 50 lots (one unit in each for simplicity) should be split as follows

1.000 > 1.0050

It isn't

It's going

1.000 > 1.012 and then jumping to 1.101 1.201 then 2.001 2.002 etc

Looking at this DOC E1: 42: Split Sales Order and Line Number Assignment (Doc ID 1430995.1) it seems very complicated.

Is there anywhere in E1 that could control this 1.012 to line 2.001 jump???

UBE Version name Visibility on iseries Jobnames

Hi List,

for many years now in Xe we have been running UBEs from IBMs Job Scheduler, so the job scheduler name (eg. R47011_A) means that we know it refers to UBE subsystem process R47011 Version A.

In E1 9.1 we are now launching the UBEs using apis from within E1 directly. We have over 100 subsystem processes to launch and the new method is very affective and easy to run (loops over custom setup table).

This means however that all jobs running the same UBE cannot be distinguished as they all appear to be the same when viewed on iseries. Example below where all 7 EDI order taking processes R47011 appear to be the same job name.

Subsystem/Job User Number Type CPU % Threads Storage
FISLEEPERS QSYS 448399 SBS .0 2 3
R42565 JDE 476372 BCH .0 1 81
R47011 JDE 476373 BCH .0 1 62
R47011 JDE 476374 BCH .0 1 62
R47011 JDE 476375 BCH .0 1 62
R47011 JDE 476376 BCH .0 1 62
R47011 JDE 476377 BCH .0 1 62
R47011 JDE 476378 BCH .0 1 62
R47011 JDE 476379 BCH .0 1 62

I know we can use E1 screen WSJ to see the processing jobs in F986110 to get version details based on the jobnumber. But does anyone know how we can launch UBEs with a specific jobname so that we could perhaps associate each job with the version name in some way. Or maybe there is a better way to control this?

Best regards

Andrew

JDE User IDs

Hi,

I have a table in my data warehouse that is imported from our HR system that contains the following employee information:

  • Address Number (AN8)
  • Employee Name
  • Job Title
  • Manager Name

I want to relate this data to orders from F4211/F4201 based on the Order Taken By field (TKBY). To do that , I need to bridge the TKBY field to the employee address number (AN8).

My first thought was to join to F0101 on AN8, but while F0101 has the employee name, it doesn't have the User_ID field.

I've tried joining to F0092 on the USER field. This works for the majority of address numbers, but for some reason not all users have a record in F0092.

Is there a table that has the USER and AN8 field for every E1 user?

Thanks for your help!

Customer Ledger Inquiry Question

Hi all,

after reading the post on how to choose the right forum I hope my choice is correct.

I am new to JDE and I need to understand something about Customer Ledger Inquiry.

My understanding so far is that three tables are involve F03B14,F03B13,F03B11 correct me if I am wrong.
I need to extract information from the SQL database in the same way that the customer ledger Inquiry do using the "
As Of Date Feature".

I have been trying to understand the logic and I have read the documentation which explain the feature in this way:

When you use an as of date, the system compares the value that you enter with the Date Closed field of the invoice. If the "as of" date is after the closed date, the system skips the record. If the "as of" date is before the closed date, the system compares the "as of" date with G/L date of the Receipts Detail records (F03B14) that were applied to the invoice to calculate the open amount of the invoice as of the date entered.

Now I am having some issue translating this into a constraint to extract the data. Now "As of Date" alias is "DGJ" which can be both on F03B14 or F03B11 I am supposing is the one in F03B11 and I am comparing this to the DGJ in F03B14 trying to create a constraint with what stated above but my extraction did not come correct. Some data are missing but are included in the "customer ledger inquiry" result eg. RU Documents.

I there any way to reproduce the same extraction in SQL? I need to do this for reporting purposes as this data need to be merge with the data from another application. Any help would be really appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Federico

P4312 Run receipts in Proof mode???

Hello,

We are using JD Edwards E1 8.11SP1 and have a third party warehouse system for receiving goods at a specific warehouse. The receipts are interfaced into JDE in batch mode. That process runs after the receipts were done at the warehouse. We have many scenarios where the interface fails to update JDE due to genuine errors such as missing standard cost, AAI not setup, PO line not at right status etc. We would like to be able to catch these errors and prepare POs for receiving much before the goods arrive at the warehouse. In other words, we want to run a report regularly performing all checks P4312 would do on open POs and send to business to make corrections/setups in JDE. This will help reduce the inventory discrepancies we face due to receipts stuck in the interface. Essentially, we need to run P4312 in Proof mode! Is it something that is possible? Have anyone done something similar? Ship Confirm P4205 has a processing option that can be used to prevent inventory update, but I didn't find anything like that on P4312.

Please provide your thoughts.

Thanks,
Prathibha

9.2 Standalone on Win10 or 8.1

Hi,

I have been unsuccessful installing 9.2 Standalone on Win 10 and 8.1. I was stuck with compatibility issues with WebLogic and Oracle Database installation. I also tried with the downloads posted last week in Oracle edelivery.

Did anyone succeed? Please post your suggestions.

Thanks

R047024 A/P Payments To G/L By Batch

For A/P integrity purpose, we ran the report R047024 A/P Payments To G/L By Batch.
We got a huge list of batches, but we are sure there should not be this much of records.

So, for some random batches, we ran R09301 General Journal by Batch Report, and could not find any balancing issues (i.e., total of debit and credit is zero)
I read some documents on the report R047024 A/P Payments To G/L By Batch, and understood that it checks F0414 Accounts Payable Matching Document Detail table.
Now, how can I fix issues with those batches, or is there any issue exist (as total of debit and credit is zero) in reality ?

One note to the above issue that, most or all the batches are having Inter company Settlements.

QSoft installation on Windows Server 2012 R2

Hi All,

Is it possible to implement QSoft V5.2 on a Microsoft Server 2012 R2.
We have currently installed E910 and everything works fine on this FAT machine.

We have a Oracle 12c Database installed as a local database.

We have tried to install QSoft V5.2 but it does not act as it should.
In the middle of importing the objects, the screen disappears.
Upon looking up on OMW the project appears with all objects checked in under it and while building these objects no errors too but while accessing design menu from OMW no data is displayed under any of the tables either.

The QSoft installation guide does say that it is supported upto Win 7 but after having a word with QSoft they say that Win 8 is also supported.

Anyone tried to install the same on a server class machine.

Any help is appreciated.

Regards,
Rakesh Teja

Delimited Text File - # Of Fields Limitation

I need to generate a delimited text file of 35 fields. Is that number of fields doable in JDE UBE or is it too many?

Thanks

Attaching a UBEs .h file to a build

Hi guys,

I have created a BSFN that wakes up subsystem versions of R31410.

I use the UBE's .h file, which I generated locally to pass info into the R31410

This compiles fine with me locally.
The OMW project has the C++ the C++ DSTR the 2 UBE versions as subsystems.

My CNC team are now struggling to compile the BSFN with the following errors

"/App/jdedwards/e900_913/packages/DVUFP06/include/b5531410.h", line 28.10: 1506-296 (S) #include file <r31410.h> not found.
"b5531410.c", line 60.14: 1506-277 (S) Syntax error: possible missing ';' or ','?
"b5531410.c", line 97.21: 1506-045 (S) Undeclared identifier dsRI.
"b5531410.c", line 97.51: 1506-045 (S) Undeclared identifier DSRIR31410.

Thu Jan 14 11:04:14 - Updating status for Object 'C57GTS' to PKG_ERROR on 'GTSAX-JDED1'

Now to me, I think it's due to the fact they don't have the R31410.h file anywhere.

How we they ensure they do have this and that the BSFN builds correctly.

Thanks

John
